I hope and wish that you and your family are safe and in good health. The new COVID variant Omicron has a very fast spread but the reports suggest it’s less severe in most cases not leading to major complications.
The list can go on and many micro & fundamental indicators may suggest sustained weakness or sideways movements of the markets. No one can predict the near term market trajectory but long term investing outcomes are quite impressive.
At the outset I wish you and your loved ones a very Happy Christmas & New Year! It’s been a very difficult time for all of us and the entire globe is still adjusting to new ways of dealing with the Covid-19 threat on humanity.
Once right asset allocation has been defined and implemented, the investing success largely hinges on managing emotions during different stages of the market. Market volatility is quite common (I will share some interesting facts in a separate post) & its effect on individual portfolio is linked with the respective asset allocation strategy.
